The latest data from Nielsen (to w/e 26 Dec 2009) shows that the value of the ‘non-malolactic sector’ (including Lanson, Gosset and Krug) has grown by 7%, as opposed to the other Grand Marques which have declined by 9%, perhaps demonstrating for the first time that consumers are agreeing that non-malo champagnes do taste better.
