Following the recent announcement of this year’s medal winning wines in the top three UK wine competitions, Lanson is celebrating success across their portfolio of brands, winning a total of three gold medals, nine silver medals and 14 bronze medals in the most prestigious competitions, the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC), International Wine Challenge (IWC) and Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA).
Lanson Gold Label 1999 maintained the 1998 vintage’s top spot, winning a gold medal in the IWC and IWSC (where it also achieved best in class) and a bronze medal in DWWA.
Lanson Noble Cuvée Brut 2000 was another star performer, winning a silver medal in DWWA and IWSC and a bronze medal in IWC.
A further coup for Lanson was outstanding success in the 2010 Drinks Business Awards, where the House beat stiff competition to win Best Trade Campaign, cementing Lanson’s position within the trade as the leading non-malolactic champagne.
