As if £20.00 for a 3 course meal with drinks wasn’t already fantastic value for money we have introduced a 15 minute demonstration in the kitchen hosted by Master Chef Simon Lilley or Young Master Chef 2010 Runner Up Russell Housley.
The August Club Lunch started with a delicious Wild Mushroom and Ricotta Ravioli with a rich fresh tomato sauce. Freshly baked rolls accompanied with a glass of Anakena Viognier from Chile, a perfumed ripe luscious white wine.
The main course was a delightful Roasted Cod filled with a cod mousse and wrapped in proscuitto and served on a warm chorizo and wilted spinach potato salad – served with balsamic dressing made with our special blueberry balsamic vinegar from Wildon Grange in Co Durham.
The Luncheon was rounded off with a fresh berry crumble with vanilla bean ice cream and tuille teaspoons with a fresh chocolate cup and limoncello served to refresh the palate at the end.
The demonstration showed how to prepare the pasta dish and finished with a question and answer session on cooking tips!
The verdict was a resounding success and we look forward to the September Lunch Club on Thursday 9th at noon.Share and Enjoy:
