New 5 day foundation cookery course announced

Are you a student about to fend for yourself at University? Spending the holidays as a chalet host on the ski slopes? Looking to get a grasp of cooking from the very beginning? Our new 5 day Foundation Cookery Course is the perfect solution to learn the nuts and bolts of cooking.

Starting on Monday 8th August this week long day will focus on the following dishes and techniques to provide you with a good, solid foundation to prepare and create your own food :

Monday 8th : introduction, kitchen hygiene, bread making, soup, stocks, sauces, fish pie

Tuesday 9th : sweet & savoury pastry, pies, quiches, scones, vegetable dishes

Wednesday 10th : beef stroganoff, quick lunches, curry & braised rice, summer salads

Thursday 11th : Sunday lunch with traditional garnishes, bread & butter pudding

Friday 12th : stuffed chicken breast, flavoured pasta meatballs, chocolate mousse with chocolate decorations.
