4 day wine festival in Chesterfield, Derbyshire

The annual Chesterfield wine festival returns again in 2011 for 4 days of good wines, great food and fun.

May 10th : Tour & Tapas : £20.00
Take a virtual tour form the south of France into Northern Spain and Portugal on our way East to the Mediterranean . Will also take in a few lesser know European destinations on the way including Hungary & Romania. Enjoy the wine tour with tapas platters to match which will include foods from around the Mediterranean area of Europe. Sit back relax and enjoy an early summer holiday.

May 11th : Paul Mas Tasting Dinner : £35.00
Come and enjoy and night of Paul Mas wines hosted by the wine maker from Paul Mas vineyards in the Languedoc. Enjoy crisp whites including whites blends , Sauvignon and Picpoul de pinet along with red blends soft rounded Merlots and St Chinian . The great wines accompany a three course menu inspired by the south of France.

May 12th : Block Busters : £15.00
A new world wine tasting featuring the trend setting style of big new world wines , big in alcohol , big in fruit, big in flavour! With wines from South Africa , Langmeil in the Barossa and some big hitters from Mclaren vale this is truly a night of discovery where we hope to send everyone away having discovered their new favourite wine.

May 13th : South American Dinner : £35.00
Tonight will be hosted be two wine makers one from the Pascal Toso vineyard in Argentina and one from the Anakena vineyard in Chile . A wide variety of wines will be on display from the Toso sparkling brut to the powerful fruit driven Indo Cabernet Sauvignon from Anakena. Both vineyard produce premium wines which when matched to our three course menu created by our head chef Simon Lilley this really is an event not to be missed.
