Coghlans Cookery School brought to you by Miele launched officially this week with a huge opening ceremony at the newly refurbished Chesterfield site.
Directors of Miele and Coghlans have joined forces to refit the school with state of the art Miele equipment throughout including combi pressure steamers, moisture plus ovens and retractable extraction from the roof.
The £200,000 investment is the first of its kind in the UK but may lead to further sites being opened north and south of our region by the long established Sheffield family business. The school now houses a bespoke cookery demonstration theatre for 40 plus guests, cookery school with 9 complete stations, wine conditioning room for tutored tastings and to host conferences functions and events and a brand new Coffee & reception area where guests and shop customers are served superb espressos, capuccinos and latte machiattos from the beautifully crafted Miele machines.
Janet Coghlan said
“We are delighted that Miele have committed to our area with this wonderful facility and we hope that Coghlans customers old and new will thoroughly enjoy these stunning facilities right here on their doorstep”
The kitchen was installed by local company Kitchen World of Heeley and additional local sponsors include Franke Sissons, Denby Pottery and Taylors Eye Witness knives. Le Creuset still remain as the school’s preferred cookware supplier.
