Back due to popular demand we spend another evening with Pedro Echegoyen from Bodegas Abadia de la Olivia, Navarra in Spain.
Dating back to 1134 the winery has close links to the Cistercian Monastery who made wine until very recently in 2007. In 2009 the vineyards were lease out and the new team arrived fusing the historical legacy of the winery with modern wine making technology to bring a new dynamic to these fine Spanish wines. Pedro’s last visit impressed us greatly if you missed out be sure to book this time round .
