Thursday 16th May will see regulars at Coghlans Thursday weekly bistro night enjoying a stunning treat with a sponsorship from Pommery to launch the Seasons range of single Cru Champagnes.
The flight of 4 glasses of Pommery’s unique styles will be served alongside the 3 course weekly market menu at a unique price of £35 per person. Guests have been enjoying Coghlans bistro nights since early April and this week’s menu was jubilantly received by specially invited Brides and Grooms who are using Coghlans to cater for their weddings.
After Canapés a Scallop and Salmon Ravioli was served with a sauce vierge followed by a duo of Derbyshire Beef, Slow braised Shin and seared Fillet beef with a red wine jus lie.
The menu was completed with a delightfully elegant Vanilla and Raspberry Posset with some of Coghlans Chocolates rounding off the prefect night.
The bistro night runs every Thursday from 18th April and bookings can be telephoned through on 01246 453131. The market menu changes weekly and features a choice of items on each course. Wines can be purchased from the extensive range in the adjacent Barrels and Bottles wine store and served in Riedel glasses at the retail shop price.
