| 1. How to Order |
| Once you have found a product you wish to order enter the amount you wish to buy and click the "buy" button. You are taken to a temporary cart basket showing you have added an item. After a few seconds you will return back to the product you just bought . |
| 2. How to adjust the quantity |
| To increase, reduce or remove the quantity of a product already added to the cart click on either "View Cart" in the black bar at the top of the page or on the black Cart Icon at the top right of the page. Enter the quantity you require in the "Quantity" box and click on "update". To remove an item from the cart place a tick in the "Remove" box and click "update". Your new cart contents and values are displayed. You can now add more items or continue to payments. |
| 3. Redeeming Coupons and Vouchers |
| Coupons and vouchers are redeemed in the checkout beneath entering your invoice address. The code is case sensitive so please enter exactly as provided. Some coupons (Gift Vouchers etc) do require verification against the original code by Barrels & Bottles upon receipt of your order before it can be processed fully. |
| 4. Shipping to a different address than the invoice address |
The first page of the checkout procedure allows you to select the shipping destination (regions of the UK) and beneath is a tick box - place a tick in this box if you require the items shipping to a different destination than the invoice address. If you forget to tick the "different delivery" box click on "change" at the bottom of the Invoice Address section to take you back a page. The Invoice Address should be the address at which the credit card is registered. The Delivery Address may be anywhere on Mainland UK and may be your works address or the recipients address if you are wanting to send the items direct as a gift or present etc. Enter the Delivery Address on the page after the Invoice Address If you want to send several items to different addresses you will need to make a new order to each recipient. |
| 5. Maestro / Switch / SOLO debit cards |
| There are 2 types of debit cards. Some have a "Valid From" or "Start Date" and others have an issue number. Please ensure you select the correct type in the drop down box against "Card Type" |
| 6. I am completely stuck - HELP |
If you get stuck at any stage during the checkout or you need to make a change to the cart click on the black "Shopping Cart" icon at the top right hand side of the page. This will take you back to the view cart page where you can start again. If you are still having issues please contact John Higgins on 01246 453399. |
| 7. Changing an Order |
| If you have completed the order and have made a mistake or need to change something simply send an email quoting your "Order Reference" and what changes you need making to the order |
| 8. Ordering Personalised Wine Labels |
| There are 2 ways to order personalised wine labels. We have selected a range of our most popular wines in the "Personalised Wines" section. Against each bottle you can enter the text you require on that specific bottle. If you want to personalise another bottle on our website then select "Other bottles to Personalise" from the menu - add your design details into the form and then add the bottle you need personalising to the cart. |
| 9. Completing the Design Form |
The design form is there for you to enter any text you require. We have used common labels to the form such as "Header" , "Recipient Names" , "Event" etc etc. These are not set in stone and you do not have to enter text into any of the boxes. Please feel free to enter whatever text you need into the boxes and we will do our best to design the label accordingly. Further information can be found against each label by clicking "How to complete the design link" just above the price. |
| 10. Label Design not Available |
| Some label designs are only available in a "Portrait" or a "Landscape" format depending on the shape of the bottle. Eg: Champagne bottles are only suited to Landscape label designs |
| 11. Adding an Image or Photograph |
| Images can be uploaded to our server by using the "Upload Images" button against the label design. Please try and scan photos in at 300dpi to maintain quality. A maximum file size of 2mb is allowed. If you do not have a digital copy of the image please send the original in the post (we will return) for us to scan - let us know you are sending a photo for us to scan. |
| 12. Label Design Proofs |
| We will always send a proof back for you to approve, check spelling etc before we go to print. Please note we are unable to print unless we receive approval. |
| 13. Proof not yet received |
A proof should not be sent back via email no more than 2 or 3 working days from receipt of order. Please check your email folders for artwork. Some free email services such as "Hotmail" or "Yahoo" etc may place email into a bulk folder. Rarely if some email filters are set very aggressively emails can be set as spam - please check spam folders and set to receive emails from sales @ barrelsandbottles.co.uk (note we will not bombard you with unwanted emails) If you have not received a proof it is likely if youemail us to ask for its whereabouts any reply may also go missing. If after 5 working days you have still heard nothing back please call John on 01246 453399 and we will find another way to get the proof through to you for approval. |
| 14. Labels without Bottles |
| We are Wine Merchants first and foremost - as such we are unable to supply just labels without bottles. Sorry. |

| We deliver Mainland UK only at the moment in 2 regions: |

| upto 10kg : £10.75 (equivalent to 6 x 75cl bottles) |
| upto 15kg : £13.00 (equivalent to 12 x 75cl bottles) |
| upto 20kg : £16.00 (equivalent to 16 x 75cl bottles) |
| upto 30kg : £28.00 (equivalent to 24 x 75cl bottle) and £10.75 per 10kg thereafter |

| If your parcel has not been delivered please forward your order receipt as a reply email along with the issue. Alternatively please contact 01246 453399 with your order number. |
