Barrels & Bottles Wine Blog

After several false starts at attempting to move (shop fitters behind,
delays from the builders, onslaught of Christmas) we have finally upped
and moved to Sheepbridge.

After spending the past month or so re-stacking the shelves and
un-wrapping pallets we rather embarrassingly found several "lost" boxes
we knew nothing about! Forgetting the 17 bottles of very corked South
African Chardonnay there was also 10 bottles of 1999 Chateau de Pez (St
Estephe) and 6 bottles of 1996 Penfolds Grange. Alas the magnum bottle
of Krug Clos de Mesnil was a display dummy :(

We are pleased to invite our new and long-standing customers to open days at our new showrooms. Event dates are:

Thursday 23rd February 2006
Friday 24th February 2006
Saturday 25th February 2006

Please feel free to drop in between 11.00am and 3.00pm for a glass of Champagne and a selection of pastries, tea and coffee.

In addition we are giving every customer at £10.00 welcome voucher to be used before 28th February 2006. This is valid against any sale of £60.00 or over but cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or offers.
