Castillo de Almansa Reserva, Spain. 75cl. This wine is made from 70 per-cent Tempranillo and 30 per-cent Monastrol grapes and matured in American oak casks for 12 months and then 10 months in bottle. Rich, velvety softness, concentrated crushed blackcurrant and wild berry fruit, cassis, black pepper fill the palate, balancing well with the tannins and leaving an enduring, delicious and lengthy aftertaste.
