100% Syrah. Maceration took place for 7 days at 25deg.C, and malolactic fermentation in 500 litre oak barrels. It was aged 4 months in American oak barrels. Deep, intense red colour with purple tinges. Sensational ripe red fruit nose beautifully blended with spices and a toastiness from the oak. On the palate it is elegant, full, very smooth and rounded with rich plum and blackberry fruit and firm tannins. It finishes off with a hint of high quality oak. A superb wine at incredible value.

"Elegant nose. Deep purple, greenish on back palate. Very full in the mouth with good legs in the glass. Plummy taste with lots of fruit suggesting a long life."
