Proudly family owned for more than 142 years, Tyrrell's are a wine company rich in history and pioneering achievement. English immigrant Edward Tyrrell, established Tyrrell's Wines in 1858 after receiving a land grant in apparently poor pasture land in the lee of the Hunter Valley's Brocken Back range.

Today, Tyrrell's are a truly national company with vineyards established in Australia's premium wine growing regions - McLaren Vale, Coonawarra and Heathcote, but still call the Hunter Valley home.

Fourth generation family member, Bruce Tyrrell, now heads a wine making company that boasts well established, popular and highly recognisable wine brands that are exported to over 30 countries world wide.
