The Tempranillo selected grapes used in this wine come from vines that are more than 50 years old. After being hand-harvested and undergoing cluster selection in the vineyards, the grapes are destemmed and go through gravity-controlled tanks, with two days maceration prior to fermentation. An additional 14 days of maturation follow, with malolactic fermentation taking place. Clarification with natural egg. The wine is aged for fifteen months in new barrels (80-percent American and 20-percent French oak). It then spends an additional 24 months ageing in bottle before leaving the cellar.

Tinto Figuero’s VS - Vendimia Seleccionada, this wine is made with specially selected grapes from vines older than 50 years and was aged 15 months in new oak barrels. Deep crimson red hue with purple strains. Dense and satiny. Complex smell, intense nose, perfectly blending primary aromas and toasted nuances delivered by the wood. Fully ripened, red forest fruits make their presence felt along with plentiful toasted and balsamic notes. Palate friendly tannins and ripe fruits deliver candied flavours. The balsamic notes linger with their finish.
