Snoqualmie Vineyards and Climate
Snoqualmie wines are blended from their three vineyards located in different appellations, each of which brings different characteristics to the wines. Wahluke Slope is one of the warmest areas in the state, usually the first fruit to ripen and grapes from here add longevity and backbone. Yakima Valley is a higher, cooler region and has a shorter growing season and these grapes add subtle overtones of mint, eucalyptus and liquorice. Located along the Columbia river in the south central part of the Columbia Valley, Horse Heaven Hills fruit is juicy and intensely flavoured.
Snoqualmie wines are approachable, food-friendly and offer classic varietal flavour profiles, as well as being produced sustainably. Snoqualmie has more certified Organic vineyards than any other producer in the state of Washington, and we are pleased to introduce the Naked Organic range to the UK this year.
