Rutherford Ranch - California

The Rutherford Ranch Vineyards and Winery are centrally located in the world famous Rutherford appellation, in the heart of the beautiful Napa Valley. Rutherford Ranch wines have been lovingly created to express the terroir that comprises the Napa Valley, but with an eye on approachability.

Each Rutherford Ranch wine begins life in one of the Napa Valley's prized vineyards and is carefully hand crafted. A gentle fermentation is followed by many months of aging in small French and American oak barrels. The result is a wine that is full-bodied, yet pleasing to the palate and ready to be enjoyed with your favourite dishes.

Our Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of tart citrus and lemon grass with pleasant herbal notes. This wine is very bright with crisp flavors of ripe Rome apple and a fresh quince undertone.

Food Recommendation: This Sauvignon Blanc matches very well with chicken and pork as well as seafood. Shellfish (oysters and crab) are especially appropriate for the crisp finish.

Rutherford Ranch Zinfandel

This wine shows fragrant aromas of black raspberries, cherries, cedar, spice and black pepper which are perfectly matched to the deep, rich raspberry and cherry fruit flavors. The medium, full-bodied texture is well balanced with a smooth blackberry fruit finish and a hint of sweet oak spice. This fabulous Zinfandel will pair nicely with spicier dishes and game.

Food Recommendation: This Zinfandel is especially delightful by itself. It is also a wonderful match for roast chicken, pork cutlet or glazed ham.

Rutherford Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon

Aromas of black cherry, plum and ripe pomegranate meld with layers of spice, nutmeg, cocoa and toasty oak that follow through onto the palate. The exceptional acid balance of this Cabernet combined with hints of black tea and smooth velvety tannins, make this wine as interesting to drink as it is delicious.
