Quiver Tree - South Africa

With a winemaking history stretching back to the 17th century, Stellenbosch is probably the best known and most beautiful districts in the Cape winelands, situated only 30 miles from Cape Town and set amongst stunning mountain scenery. Stellenbosch is the home to South Africa's top viticulture and oenology colleges of Elsenburg and Stellenbosch University. It is also the spiritual home of Pinotage, a wine grape variety created in 1925 at the University by crossing Pinot Noir and Cinsaut (known widely as Hermitage in South Africa, hence the name Pinot-Tage.)
