Intense, dark, ruby red with violet hues. On the nose, powerful, with notes of blackberry, toffee and fudge. On the palate, soft, sweet tannins, round, excellent acidic balance, very good structure with notes of black fruits and blueberry notes. Long, long finish.

Casa Silva Quinta Generacion red is made from 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Carmenère, 15% Syrah & 5% Petit Verdot. Aged in new French oak barrels for 13 months.

This outstanding wine is perfectly suited for fine meats such as venisson, wild board, duck or game, specially if they are well seasoned. It is the natural choice for roast lamb, fillet, grilled burgers, a rack of ribs or beef Wellington. It is also a great idea to serve it with Thai or Mediterranean dishes and with any kind of barbecued meats.
