The Mionetto winery, producer of Prosecco, is located in the Veneto region of Italy. The Veneto is famous for the Prosecco grape and the ancient city of Venice. The Prosecco zone, located in the Veneto, is comprised of an area between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. This is the only place in the world where the Prosecco grape grows.

In the sunny hillsides just north of Venice lies Valdobbiadene: a generous land of ancient traditions where time seems to stand still and life proceeds at a peaceful rhythm. A land where everything - wine cellars and vineyards, taverns and ancient villas, churches and piazzas - is authentic, romantic and marked by a tradition of gracious hospitality and fine cuisine. Valdobbiadene, beloved by Trevisian and Venetian nobility of the past for its mild climate and breathtaking scenery, today is inextricably tied to its most famous product: wine from the Prosecco grape.

Sergio Mionetto, the master vintner and esteemed wine connoisseur, personally oversees every step of the processing, from grape-picking to bottling, thus ensuring the quality standards that have earned international recognition, awards and accolades.

The Valdobbiadene winemaker's art is full of long-standing traditions which the Mionetto Company has preserved, including the ancient custom of using string-tied corks, a rustic characteristic of the Valdobbiadene wines of the past lovingly maintained by Mionetto to this day.

100% Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOC first cru. A cuvee of selected grapes taken from the border of the treasured Cartizze region.

With a delicate straw color, the Mionetto MO Valdobbiadene DOC has aromas of exotic fruit and green apple. Floral flavors and a fine and intense perlage, this wine is soft and creamy with fresh delicate bubbles.

Excellent aperitif or serve with light meals, fish and pastries.

Store upright.

Best served chilled from 45-48°F.

This sparkling wine honors the traditions of the Veneto winemaking region and the long history of the Mionetto family. Contemporary master vintner Sergio Mionetto produces this wine based on a formula handed down by Francesco Mionetto, who founded the winery in 1887. A touch of two old grape varieties, unique to the region, are blended with the area's finest Prosecco grapes; the result is a superbly dry, slightly fruity wine with just a hint of acidic crispness.

Lovely as an aperitif, perfect for celebrations, and an exquisite partner to the most delicate and sophisticated dishes such as oysters, lobster and shellfish.

This is the Prosecco for which the Veneto region is famous and represents the best of the Valdobbiadene wine-making traditions, including the string-tied cork. It is slightly fruity and dry, with the perfume of golden apples.

Perfect with appetizers, mozzarella or prosciutto antipasto, or pasta with lobster, clams, shrimp and delicate fish dishes.

"EMMA PEEL COCKTAIL"

in a fluted glass:

- 1 oz. Cherry Brandy
- 1 oz. Pineapple
- Mionetto Prosecco Brut

Mix first two ingredients into a mixing glass with ice to chill. Strain into a fluted glass and fill with Mionetto Prosecco Brut. Garnish with a long spiral of lemon peel.


"MIO FLIRT"

in a chilled Martini glass :

- 1 half oz. Vodka
- 1 half oz. Cointreau®
- 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
- Two pieces of fresh pineapple
- 3 oz. Mionetto Prosecco

Muddle the pineapple pieces and the Cointreau® in the bottom of a mixing Glass. Add the vodka and juice and stir with ice. Strain into a chilled Martini glass and top with Mionetto Prosecco. Garnish with a cherry.
