Following meticulous grape selection, the painstaking winemaking process starts in oak vats where, after the first fermentation, the wine is left to macerate for 8 days. It is them placed in French oak casks where malolactic fermentation takes place. Ageing takes place in new French oak barrels for 14 months, with racking using the traditional method taking place every four months. It then continues ageing for another nine months in the bottle.

Clean and brilliant, intense cherry red colour with garnet rim. Complex and powerful with ripe fruit very well integrated with oak and mineral nuances. Very powerful toasty notes (cocoa and coffee) of high quality wood, perfectly blended with ripe fruit.

Food Matches: Recommended for red meats, game and ripe cheeses.
