The soil type is Limestone and chalk for the Cabernet Franc. Limestone and gravel for the Malbec. 22 years old Cabernet and 16 year old for the Malbec. 44 Hl per hectare yield. The Harvest is partly hand picked and partly mechanical at night in order to avoid average yield: 44 hl/ha

Desteming of the grape, each grape variety is vinified separately , 11 days maceration for the Cabernet, 10 days for the Malbec under temperature control (28°C maximum). The “assemblage” is made in November before putting the wine in barrels and in vats. 30% of the blend is aged in new oak barrel for 70% is matured in cement vats.

Powerful and complex with a quintessence of floral, plums mocha and black current aromas with toasted notes. A well balanced palate, smooth and round rich finish with liquorice notes.
