Our Pinot Noir vines are planted in the Sancerrois regions three main soil types flint, terres blanches and caillottes. Most of our Pinot Noir grapes go into the production of red wine. Only 20% of the harvest is used for the production of rosé wines, most of which come from flint-based terroirs.

Our Sancerre Rosé is vinified as for white wine with the grapes being pressed immediately after being harvested. The pressing of the Pinot Noir grapes gives a unique salmon pink colour to our Sancerre Rosé along with lightness, elegance and finesse. It is the perfect match for Asian and Indian cuisine, and is ideal with cold meat dishes, deli meats and smoked salmon. It may be served as an aperitif.

Our rosé is called La Grange Dîmière in reference to one of Bué’s ancient tithe barns which constitutes the oldest part of our winery.
