Guillot-Broux - organic wine from Burgundy

Our domaine consists of a number of small vineyards in the Mâconnais villages of Cruzille, Grevilly and Chardonnay (some say this village is the origin of the grape variety - who knows?). Most of the vineyards are on east-facing slopes on clay-limestone soil. Each vineyard has its own “terroir” – a French concept encompassing soil and climate - which allows us to produce some 10 strikingly different wines. The nature of the soil in Cruzille particularly brings out mineral flavours, and produces wines which need a relatively long time to mature.
