An elegant, crisp rosé made from pure Sangiovese by award-winning producers Fattoria Il Lago. Firm-bodied, with strawberry and cherry notes, and a long-lasting finish.

Varietal : 100% Sangiovese

Colour : rose color, which is particularly tenuous.

Aroma : intense aroma with a crisp, clean fragrance reminiscent of red exotic fruits.

Taste : dry, warm and soft, with good acidity. A balanced body with notes of fruit and pleasant persistency.

Vinification : the grapes are picked by hand and then debunched. Once submersed the grapes are softly pressed without the skins in a white-wine vinification style, using delicate work methods. The maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks and at a controlled temperature of 10°C in order to maintain and not alter the delicate, typical fragrances of this wine. In February the wine is bottled.

Serve with : this is a pleasant and easy drinking wine which is well suited for fresh dishes like salads and fish, but also ideal for white meats and soft cheeses.
