Drostdy Hof Merlot has a lively ruby red colour and is made from full-ripe fruit. It is easy drinking and accessible even now, although it has been structured to gain complexity with maturation over the next two to three years. On the nose this Merlot shows subtle aromas of raspberry with a background note of cherry.

On the palate Drostdy Hof Merlot shows fresh fruit berry flavours predominate, leaving a lingering fruit sensation on the aftertaste.
