Intense aromas and blackberry and dry plums flavors are combined for twelve months in new oak with tobacco and vanilla notes, offering great richness, sweetness and complexity.
Grape harvest by hand in April. Raceme and grain selection on mobile and vibrating tables to remove leaves and green parts.
Once in pool, must underwent a 4-day cold pre-fermentative maceration. After that, alcoholic fermentation of sugar took place spontaneously at a temperature between 26°C and 28°C. Maceration lasted 29 days and recoveries were made to favor the intimate contact of the wine and the skin.
When malolactic fermentation was finished the wine was placed in new oak barrels, where it was stored for 12 months until bottled.
Varietal wine: 100% Malbec.
Vineyard: La Niña, plot 2F.
Area of origin: Rodriguez Peña, Junín, Mendoza Province.
Altitude: 630 meters above sea level.
Production per hectare: 75 Hl/ha.
