Domaine des Bons Auspices situated in the Cévennes foothills between Nîmes, and Anduze, Canules and its surroundings still retain traces of its first human inhabitants, as well as Roman and Greek remains. The village, on a limestone ridge, benefits from a microclimate adding to the importance of the village for wine making. The Domaine des Bons Auspices has just over 23ha and vines of seven different grape varieties with an average age of 37 years.

Owner Emperatriz Larretche creates high quality wines by taking advantage of these exceptional vines and soil. The harvest is carefully prepared like the vines which support the grapes. For the vinification, traditional methods allied with the latest technology are used which will give the best of each grape variety. The maturation is made in tanks and new oak casks under attentive care and can reach 18 months.
