A26 hectare domaine, run today by the affable Jean-Pierre Large who produces delicious, velvety wines with structure and finesse. The Gamay vines are situated on steep slopes, on granitic soil. Vinification is in stainless steel but each year a proportion of the harvest is aged in oak barrels in the original cellar of the domaine, which dates back to the seventeenth century.

The wines from Domaine Cheysson are highly acclaimed and frequently feature in the Guide Hachette.
