Fruit was hand harvested in small baskets in cool conditions. After destemming and a gentle crush the fruit was fermented in tanks of 2.500L and open 500L New French oak barrels for 10 days with daily remontages. Post fermentation maceration for 12 days with 2 remontages per day, followed by a gentle pressing in wooden vertical basket press.

Colour: Deep cherry red with hints of violet.

Aroma: Concentrated aroma of ripe red and black berry fruits and fine French oak.

Taste: The initial attack is an explosion of well defined ripe fruits and fine oak. The mid palate is concentrated and smooth leading to a long multi-layered finish that is both powerful and elegant at the same time.
