Champagne Jean Dumangin 1er Cru Rose

The Carte d’Or blend is mixed with 10 to 12 % of reserve red wine which comes from old pinot noir vineyards. The taste is stronger and the Jean Dumangin Brut Rosé reveals aromas of generous red fruits.

Appearance: The pink colour with glints of salmon pink of this champagne contrasts strongly with the whiteness of the delicate and plentiful bubbles.

Nose: Expressiveness – that is a word which sums up the nose of this product well, with notes of both red fruits (grenadine) and musky notes. Richness – this is another word to express what this champagne reveals after an aeration period.

Palate: On first placing the champagne in your mouth, you cannot help noticing the harmony with the nose, with notes of small rather candied red fruits and cocoa. Very complex, this champagne is both powerful and tannic on the palate, without however neglecting delicacy and elegance, the signature of a great champagne. The end is refined and persistent with a hint of dried vegetables.

Ideal for: Dessert wine, fruit cakes, chocolate cakes.
