Casa Silva Carmenere is from their own grapes in the Colchagua Valley, Chile.

Ruby red colour. Gorgeous aroma. Hints of tobacco, black and red fruits. Round on the palate, soft tannins and balanced acidity with sweet fruit, cherries and blackberry notes. Long
finish.

Hand sorting of the grapes before destemming. Prefermentive maceration for 8 days at 6ºC. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 15 days at 28ºC to 30°C. Post ferment maceration for 3 days. Run off and malolactic fermentation.

25% of Casa Silva Carmenere is aged in French oak barrels for 5 months with 75% in stainless steel tanks.

An amazingly diverse variety which will accompany a broad range of dishes that go from grilled chicken or turkey to Thai food and Turkish kebabs. If you are in the mood for dips, try it with fresh humous.
