Camplazens Marselan is the second vintage of this cepage produced by the vineyard. Marselan is a unique crossing of Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon created by the local agricultural research center Pech Rouge. Camplazens wanted to experiment with the new variety and after doing extensive research to find the best site on the vineyard, five hectares of Garrigue was cleared in 2001. The Marselan vines were planted in the limestone rock of the gently sloping south facing side of the mountain.

The Yields are low, and the wines do not see any oak to best express their true character. The Camplazens Marselan is a densely coloured deep purple wine. It has an amazingly rich silky mouth feel and shows red and purple fruit flavors of blueberries, plums, and raspberries.
