The harvest began around September 25, approximately 15 days later than the previous year, resulting from more benign temperatures throughout the year, particularly in summer, which allowed a more natural and slower maturation. These climatic conditions allowed the grapes to arrive in the winery with a perfect ripeness, ideal for the elaboration of quality wines, with excellent colour and good structure and balance. The grapes were lightly pressed to obtain the free run must, which is then fined over 48 hours. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel at 15º C.

"A surprising find from the vast plateau in central Spain. The Macabeo grape is better known as Viura in white Rioja, and it is also used in the Cava sparkling wine blends. It's a grape known more for neutrality than any character, but Bodegas Munoz has made a remarkably affordable quaffer with lemon and apricot flavours, crisp fresh acidity and good creamy palate weight.
