Maceration takes place before pressing the Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The must is fermented between 13-15° C in stainless steel tanks. There is no malolactic fermentation.

Anakena Sauvignon is a delicate and crisp pale wine. This subtle wine shows complex citric and herbal aromas and hints of tropical fruit as pineapple and passion fruit. At the palate it is elegant, fresh and with a long finish.

Delicious as an aperitif, or with poultry, seafood, salmon, and salads. Ideal serving temperature is 12-14ºC.

Anakena Sauvignon

I tried this with Salmon and vegetables and it really matched the Salmon well.

Crisp but with an off-dry taste, Pineapple and soft passionfruit at the core with good structure and quite a long finish. I like the presentation on the bottle which gives a good feel before you open the wine.
